Graphic Design Intern

Ready to utilize your graphic design, art direction, illustration, and motion graphics skills? We’re looking for a driven and resourceful graphic designer to join our team as a summer intern. As a Graphic Design Summer Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to help us showcase all that we do here at Collective-- from our consulting practice to our Accelerators and beyond! While reporting  directly to the Director of Strategy, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience bringing an early-stage startup brand to life across client and marketing materials, social media, and the web.

We are committed to making access to internships available to people across all backgrounds. Because of this, internship hours are flexible (a minimum of 15 hours a week is expected), remote work is available, and each 12-week internship comes with a $1,500 stipend.

      • Constantly innovating and shaking things up with original ideas and curiosity

      • Ready to go with the flow in our early stage startup culture and driven to seek out the answers to questions you may not know the answers to already

      • Team-oriented and ready to partner across Collective with an all hands on deck attitude

      • Deeply committed to respecting and amplifying underrepresented voices

What We Offer

      • Early access and experience in a growing startup with big things on the horizon

      • A flexible work environment (in our Brooklyn HQ or remote) and opportunities for learning

      • A company culture committed to valuing and respecting diverse voices

      • Opportunities to be exposed to fast-growing companies in a variety of industries

      • Networking with Collective’s community of DEI professionals

      • A $1,500 stipend for a 12-week internship

Not-so-fun fact: Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. Think you have what it takes, but not sure you check every box? Reach out to us anyways. We’d love to talk and determine together whether you could be a great fit!
